Please Note: Due to the multitude of messages I receive, I am only able to respond to requests for speaking engagements and those who are HIV+ seeking support (ex. my private page for HIV+ women). For those concerned and having anxiety about possible HIV related symptoms, please consult a medical professional, test for HIV or seek help from a therapist depending on your situation.

If you're a hetero male (ie. you ONLY have sex with women), your chances of contracting HIV from a woman are 4 transmissions out of 10,000 exposures (https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/estimates/riskbehaviors.html). You have a better chance of winning the lottery basically than getting HIV from an HIV+ woman. Every hetero man with "symptoms" thinks he's going to be the unlucky one (believe me, I hear this nonstop) and they ALL turn out negative. It's anatomically nearly impossible for a woman to transmit HIV. HIV does NOT penetrate through skin, there needs to be an open mucous membrane, penises don't have open mucous membranes.
Highest risk group: young gay, black males. It's a statistical reality, if you're in that category, you should be considering PrEP, using condoms or testing regularly.
Hang in there, 99% of people that contact me with "symptoms" test HIV negative. There's a very good chance you are HIV negative as well. HIV is not as common as you think. Don't stress. Much love, Jennifer xo
